Ingredients
- 3 oz bourbon (A shot glass is typically 1.5 oz.)
- 1 oz honey syrup (recipe below)
- 1/2 oz ginger syrup (recipe below)
- 1 oz lemon juice
- Fresh mint
Ginger Syrup
- 1/4 lb. ginger, grated
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- Bring water to a boil.
- Add ginger and sugar to water and reduce heat to low.
- Cook down for 20-25 minutes; stirring occasionally.
Honey Syrup
- Bring water to a boil.
- Add honey and reduce heat to low.
- Cook down for 20-25 minutes; stirring occasionally.
Instructions
- Add bourbon, honey syrup, ginger syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail chaser with ice.
- Shake all ingredients together and strain into an ice filled rocker glass.
- Clap a few leaves of mint between your hands and use it to garnish the drink.
