Combine rasperries, blackberries, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat and cook down into a syrup. If you feel that the syrup may begin to burn add up to 2 tbsp of water to thin the syrup.
Once the syrup has thickened pour it through a fine strainer and allow it to cool.
Once syrup has cooled combine it with the bourbon, and lemon juice and stir well to combine all the ingredients.
I find that allowing the Bourbon Lemonade to rest in the fridge for a few hours to overnight makes it taste much better.
Serve Mixed Berry Bourbon Lemonade over ice garnish with a couple sprigs of thyme.
